My name is Linda Wallis and I live in Westlake, Ohio a suburb west of Cleveland. I have been sewing for the past 30 years and my absolute favorite type of sewing is quilting!
When the technique first became available of applying photographs to fabric, I knew that I wanted to master it! As the technique and products have advanced I’ve kept up to date with the latest methods.
Here’s how it a started….A few years ago my sister asked me to make a photo memory quilt for her. When it was complete, she started showing it to her friends. One thing led to another and soon I was doing memory quilts to commemorate graduations, anniversaries and birthdays. I have even had the honor of helping a family through their grieving process by preserving cherished memories of their grandfather.
I’ve done many of these quilts, each one a memory of its own. And as they say, the rest is history.
