The quilt was absolutely beautiful! My friend was so thrilled and everyone was in awe of it. It was fun to watch her - she would talk to someone and then go back to the quilt (or at least touch it). I know she was anxious to get it home and really examine it. Her daughter made her a scrapbook full of pictures and memories and I can picture her sitting with her quilt, a cup of tea, and pouring over the scrapbook. This was certainly a forever gift and I know she will treasure it always.

This quilt was every little thing I had hoped it would be and so much more. My Grandmother's favorite saying is "Oh My Glory" and we got so many we stopped counting. She cried and through the tears she said this was something she would treasure and pass on when she passes on. It was such a great way to bring everyone together. Each had to find their picture, fuss over my choices (of course!), and remember where it was taken. We told her that this way she could be wrapped in our love everyday even though we are scattered to the four winds. So many admired the work and several wanted to know where I got it ( I of course am passing your address on to them all!).

I was going to email you. she LOVED the quilt. She is taking it into work to show everyone. Now she wants a new one after every grandchild is born :) That was actually the present that drew the most excitement. She won't let anyone use it, because she wants to display it. Oh my goodness. All I can say. I got it yesterday but I did not get home until late last night. I have shown it to so many of my friends today. It is gorgeous - It could not be better. I just wanted to let you know that Amy loved the quilt. She was very surprised and extremely excited when she saw all of the pictures of Patty. She was already talking about how she would not use it as a blanket because she wanted it to stay nice. She loved the color, and it was all a perfect compliment to her memories of Patty.
